This is a 25 Days In-classroom program covering the following:

• Module 1: Language Proficiency & Vocal Dynamics Skills
• Module 2: Introduction to Banking and Banking Products
• Module 3: Customer handling skills
• Module 4: Financial Selling Skills

• Eligibility : Open to Women, LGBTQIA+ and PwD candidates
• Graduate/Post Graduate in any stream with 50% marks.
• Maximum age limit: Below 27 years.

• Candidates need to clear an Online Assessment followed by two levels of interviews:
  • Interview with SRM School of Banking Panel
• Final interview with Axis Bank
• Candidates clearing all three stages will be eligible to join the program.

Where will the training happen?
The 25-days in-class training program will be conducted by SRM School of Banking in Chennai.

What are the pre-requisites for the program?
Eligible candidates should possess good communication skills in English & Hindi.

Will I be receiving a Certificate at the completion of the Program?

• Certificate: Certificate from Axis Phone Service Excellence Academy by SRM SB.
• Offer Letter: Provisional offer letter from Axis Bank for candidates who have enrolled for the training programs.

What is the total fee of this program?

• Total Fee: Rs. 45,000 + GST @18%
• Covers 25 days of classroom training. Candidates are responsible for boarding & lodging.

When do I make the payment?

Payment should be made before the commencement of the training program.

What are the documents to be submitted before the SRM School of Banking interview?

Various documents including PAN card, Aadhar Card, Academic Certificates etc., are needed during the selection process.

Will SRMSB refund my fee if I exit in between?

SRMSB will not refund the fee once the training program has commenced.

Can I enroll in the Program while being in the final year of Graduation/ Post Graduation?

No. Only Graduate/Post Graduate can apply.

Is there any loan assistance for the program?

Yes. Loans are provided by a private finance company. Candidates can contact them directly.

What is the job role post successful completion of the program?

• Candidates who successfully complete the training program will be placed as
  Phone Banking Officer (Assistant Manager grade) at Axis Bank.
• The role of a Phone Banking Officer is predominantly Customer Service.

What is the role of Phone Banking Officer?

• Be the best for our customers by:
  • Delivering service with requisite courtesy and accuracy
  • Adhering to product and process requirements, with nil errors
  • Escalating customer issues to the right internal stakeholders
  • Effectively resolving customer complaints at the first instance, with excellent customer satisfaction scores

  • Resolving customer queries at the first instance of contact, with minimum call handling time

  • Loans and mortgages
  • Priority / elite accounts

Work Schedule

• Work hours for Women: – 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (rotational shift)
• 2 days week off on a rotational basis.
• Week offs Any Random 2 days off / No Fixed Consecutive Offs

Will I get a stipend/salary for the duration of OJT?

Candidates who join Axis Bank after training will be paid their salary as per Axis Bank terms.

What is the annual CTC I can expect when I join Axis Bank?

Annual CTC for Phone Banking Officer is 4.01 Lakhs Per Annum.

Career progression post 1 year of service?

For the initial two-year candidates will be in the Assistant Manager grade and progress as given in the Career Path.
